McGlashen Ave – NZ
This alteration and extention to an existing warehouse makes room for 3 new commercial points. At ground level 2 commercial spaces are entered directly from the street facade or the central circulation space, with the third space occupying the entire upper floor.
Concrete precast panels have been used for the fire rated boundary walls of the extention, with steel portal frames bracing these at the ground floor level and providing an uninterrupted plan. The Upper level floor; walls and roof use timber frame construction, including webbed timber purlins spanning 8 metres and a staircase of CLT (Cross Laminated Timber).
