DSC04092The metal-clad first floor draws reference from its semi-industrial context.

Concrete precast panels have been used for the fire rated boundary walls of the extention, with steel portal frames bracing these at the ground floor level and providing an uninterrupted plan. The Upper level floor; walls and roof use timber frame construction, including webbed timber purlins spanning 8 metres and a staircase of CLT (Cross Laminated Timber).
